Hey, I'm Cassie, the proud founder of Derry Meet Ups.
After over 20 years away, I returned to Derry nearly four years ago for a fresh start. It didn't take long to fall back in love with the city's warmth, its incredible people, and the beautiful landscapes we're so lucky to have on our doorstep -—all of which inspired me to rebuild my life here from the ground up.
While I loved being home, I found it challenging to make new connections as someone who was self-employed, sober, and child-free. At first, I thought it was just me, but I decided to put the feelers out to see if anyone else was craving more from life.
After the unexpected success of the Instagram Reel above, Derry Meet Ups was born - a space where people from all walks of life can come together, share experiences, form friendships, and build a sense of belonging.
Guided by my values of growth, authenticity, connection, and impact, I'm passionate about creating opportunities for people to connect and live life to the fullest.
